How to Opt Out of the RampedUp Database

RampedUp provides business-to-business information services using professional and company information. Our privacy program is designed to support responsible use of business data, contact data, data accuracy, transparency, and meaningful privacy rights.

RampedUp provides privacy mechanisms through which individuals can request access to, correction of, or removal of personal information associated with them, subject to applicable law and appropriate identity verification.

  1. Subject is directed to and provides information believed to be managed by RampedUp into the DO NOT SELL portal. https://basic.rampedup.io/app/donotsell
  2. Subject must authenticate the email address provided to view the data associated with the information submitted.
  3. If we do not have submitted information in our system, then a typical response is NO DATA FOUND.
  4. Otherwise, subject may view the data associated with what was submitted within the DO NOT SELL portal. Subject may also direct RampedUp to revise or erase.
  5. The sources of that data are provided in the portal.
  6. Based on where the subject resides, we will share the businesses that have accessed the data.
  7. All Opt Outs are assigned a unique ID and given to our customers to remove from their database, if they are so inclined. https://rampedup.io/opt-out-list
  8. The information is kept on file so as not to be processed in the future

Where the GDPR applies to a particular processing activity, RampedUp relies principally on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f), subject to the safeguards we defined in our Legitimate-interest assessment.

RampedUp evaluates legitimate-interest processing using the established three-part framework: identifying a legitimate interest, assessing whether the processing is necessary for that interest, and balancing that interest against the rights, freedoms, and reasonable expectations of the individual.
