Where can I find Company Hierarchy?

RampedUp identifies relationships between businesses in the from of Parent - Subsidiary or Parent - Affiliate.

To view the Corporate Family Tree, click on the company name in any List Building tool, then select the last tab of the Battlecard.

We identify family trees when companies share their legal hierarchy on a social media page, corporate website, or public filing. We assign entity types to company records that have a unique social media page but the website is either shared or redirected to the Parent company. We also monitor news feeds for Mergers and Acquisitions in our Alerts file.

Below are the entity_types and definitions within the Corporate Family Tree:

  • Ultimate Parent: The Ultimate Parent distinction is given to entities that have a Parent with a Subsidiary in their corporate family tree.
  • Parent: These entities own a Subsidiary company or have Affiliate company records assigned to them.
  • Subsidiary: Subsidiaries are legally unique entities owned by a Parent. Subsidiaries usually have a unique name or website.
  • Affiliate:  Affiliates are not legally unique entities that share a website with their Parent. Affiliates can be a regional office, an acquired company, or a recognized brand within a company.
